Internship for Web Designer Position in Costa Mesa – Hours Flexible

We are looking for someone to join our web design team. This is an internship position with possible permanent employment. Most important is the graphic design and layout. The web sites need to be aesthetically pleasing. Candidate will be responsible for sites, making sure page layout and digital asset creation is achieved.

The position starts at 20 hrs a week but for the right candidate permanent employment is possible. This is hourly work, on site at our location in Costa Mesa.
What will you be doing?

Responsible for the creation of persuasive/effective marketing, and internal communication, web media material
Uses web technologies and techniques to create and publish marketing materials
Meets schedule and budget compliance for all media projects
Adhere to branding and quality guidelines
Optimization of web content to generate improved search engine ranking (Keyword research)
Responsibility for execution accuracy

What are we looking for?

Creative. Fun. Outgoing.
2-4 years experience designing web pages, internet advertising, or other interactive media
Expert proficiency with HTML, CSS and basic jQuery knowledge
Proficient with the Adobe Suite Products: Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, MS Office
Strong design & layout skills
WordPress and DotNetNuke experience ideal
Flash, VB .NET is a huge plus
Detailed oriented team player
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Willingness to learn

Terms of Employment:
Internship/Part Time/Per Diem/Contract

Compensation:
Entry Level $10/hr DOE – 20 hrs to start
